the campaign of north africa

 

in new zealand and australia we celebrate anzac day the campaign of north africa was a campaign fought by the anzacs along side british soldiers and americans soldiers

  1. Hi Noah, you've posted some great photos here, with lots of information about the tanks and artillery. What a sad reminder of the cost of war when you consider the loss of all those lives across the ANZACs, Allies and enemy forces. Just one important thing to correct: the Italian leader's name was Benito Mussolini (the dictator who founded and led the National Fascist Party in Italy). I'd completely forgotten that the enemy powers were referred to as the Axis powers, just like the British, ANZACs and American forces were called the Allies. Uncle says what you've written is a brilliant example of why it is so important for advancing armies to have access to fuel, food and ammunition and that supplies must keep up with the advancing troops. Love your passion on this Noah.
